Be prepared, be strategic
This course can be utilized as a refresher class to clients who have had prior training but would like a yearly refresher class, or it can be a full-length class for clients who have never had formal training. Just as you might take a CPR, Cyber Security, or other safety-related training at your school, church or place of business, Active Shooter Response Training is an essential training in today's world. We offer data-driven response protocols, preplanning strategies, avoidance techniques, and discuss "lessons learned" from past incidents.
This is a great class for in service training, continuing education, or monthly safety meetings.
What to expect
This course is designed for adults of all ages and abilities. The class will be presented by an in-person instructor, in a classroom setting, using visual aids and "chalk board" scenarios. The class can be taught at the client's location, or if needed, a local venue can be secured. The length and cost of the course varies depending on the needs and size of the class. About the Instuctor
The lead instructor, Matt Spear, is a retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer. During his career Matt worked to develop and implement Active Shooter Response Training for federal employees working in federal buildings and in the field. Matt also worked at several high profile military and federal sites, where they worked daily to prepare, prevent, and respond to the event of an active shooter.
All instructors who teach this course are either active, or retired Law Enforcement, and are certified to teach "Countering the Mass Shooter" through USCCA.
